Seasonal Sunday (08/06/11)

Welcome to this weeks Seasonal Sunday!

I can't believe we are already into August. The summer is flying by - hope you are all enjoying the beautiful fruits in season (before they are gone!)

With the heat wave sweeping across this country I'm sure many of you are choosing to keep your ovens turned out. This week I'm sharing my latest recipe which includes my favorite 3 flavors! All you will need is a cold fridge to prepare..

Cherry Almond Cream Pie with a Chocolate Crust (Gluten/Dairy/Soy/Corn/Grain/Refined Sugar Free)

Check out my favorite recipes linked last week:

Chocolate Cherry Almond Blonde Brownies from Pumpkins Pantry
Almond Date Energy Bars from Real Food Forager
Raspberry Zucchini Loaf from Cozy Home Scenes
Chick Pea Carrot Salad from Raw Layer
Mustard Balsamic Salad Dressing from Clean Out Your Pantry
Fresh Cherry Mojitos from Hezzi D's Books and Cooks

Now its your turn!

Guidelines for Linking:

Saw your Facebook post so I remembered this week! Linking up my Tasty Meatloaf made in the microwave in a very short time. :-) I'd originally planned on linking up my Chocolate Beer Muffins, but nothing seasonal there. :-( That pie looks beyond incredible, Brittany!

Wow, your cheery pie looks mouthwatering!

Definitely too hot to turn on the oven, although for some strange reason I feel the bug to bake! Why does it seem to hit the strongest when it would be way to miserable to even turn the oven to 200 right now? :) Your pie looks lovely, I had already bookmarked it earlier this week. Thanks for highlighting my blondies!

Thank you for hosting! This is my first time posting here :) I shared a nourishing Peach Ice Cream recipe with a dairy-free option. Summer peaches are a favorite in my house. We look forward to making this simple peach ice cream every summer. Thanks again! - Emily @ Recipes to Nourish

What a great selection of recipes. Thanks for hosting. I linked an arugula and cashew mixed salad that is totally raw and gluten free. Perfect for this hot weather.
