Seasonal Sunday turned Tuesday ( I'm Back!! )

Seasonal Sunday turned Tuesday ( I'm Back!! )

I'm BACK!!! I'm so happy I could cry! For those of you that did not hear via Twitter and Facebook- last Saturday I was hacked- A BIG BIG thank you goes out to my friend Jason Berardi for saving Real Sustenance.

After that mess and experiencing the fear and anxiety that all my hard work and all of these recipes would be lost- I HAVE to encourage all you wonderful fellow bloggers to religiously back up everything you do.

So Seasonal Sunday is a few days late- but I figured I would leave it up- why not?! Right. Would you all help me spread the word that this weeks event is now up?

Happy Seasonal Sunday!!

Welcome to the first official SPRING Inspired Event.

I'm really excited about one of my more recent recipes- these little cupcakes turned out incredible- I created them for my wellness event 2 weeks ago. They received wonderful feedback- I hope you like them just as much!

Key Lime Pie Cupcakes with Coconut Buttercream Gluten/Dairy Free with a Vegan Option.

This week as promised I would like to highlight 2 bloggers!

Iris Higgins writer of The Daily Dietribe is a gift to this world- and someone that I consider a wonderful friend. Talented and creative- Iris can make just about anything. On her journey to better health she has had to give up not only the Gluten but also Chocolate, Eggs and pretty much every form of sugar (among other things) Talk about tough- but amazing Iris still manages to post out of this world recipes. She has mastered the use of Stevia In baking. (I told you she had talent) Check out her site if you haven't and consider visiting her often and she is quite insightful. OH AND check out her recipe from last week: Pumpkin Spice Muffins (Gluten Free, Vegan and Stevia Sweetened)

Do you know- Gigi writer of Gluten Free Gigi? If you don't you really really need to. Gigi's story alone will inspire you to work through any health issues you may struggle with. Not to mention that she is a top notch friend- inspiring, kind and encouraging. (I adore her if you can't tell) Shes brilliant in the kitchen- She always impresses me with holiday themed recipes. Check out her lengthy recipe list!

And now Its your turn to share..

Welcome back!!! You must be so relieved. I've cringed for you every time I tried to get to your site for the past few days. So glad you are up and running!

    Where's the Linky?

It must have been awful to be hacked -- good thing you're back! You have a lovely blog, and I really like the idea of the Seasonal dishes. Spring is still lagging here in Ohio, but I know it's happening...however slow.

I'm out east, in the Snow Belt. It's pretty hard for a girl from sunny Texas to survive the cloudy winter here in Ashtabula County, and then to make it worse, Lake Erie retards the arrival of spring by a couple of weeks compared to the counties south of us. I keep reminding myself that the same effect keeps us warmer a couple of weeks later in the fall ;-)

Thank you so much, Brittany (and Debi)! That was the sweetest introduction ever! Now I've got to live up to it...better get back in the kitchen! :) So glad your site's back up.

p.s. So excited for rhubarb season! Linking up my rhubarb cake! Of course, now I've got to come up with a sugar-free and egg-free version!

I missed this SS roundup, but I still wanted to come back and add my support to Iris and Gigi. I have long loved Iris and followed her journey to optimum health with so many deligthful recipes along the way. Gigi is fairly new to me, but still I love her, too. And you're right, her story is so inspiring! It's one that needs to be shared for sure. :-)

    xo,
    Shirley
