Paleo/Grain Free Thanksgiving Recipes.

Paleo/Grain Free Thanksgiving Recipes.

Imagine this: A Thanksgiving dinner that doesn't leave you with a bloated belly, and that wave of exhaustion that you'll see settle into everyone else's eyes. That's right- I no longer suffer from that gluten, grain & sugar coma. I'm even able to fit into my skinny jeans the next morning. Don't misunderstand me- I do NOT eat like a bird. I enjoy this holiday just as much as the next person. The difference? My food is easier to digest. With these recipes you are skipping all the negative and enjoying only the positives of the day; GREAT FOOD, Great People- and knowing that this year you will not be deprived of a single thing you love.

Cheers!

    Thanks for publishing!

I want to know about making gravy and cranberry sauce as Paleo as possible. Any suggestions? I'm okay with honey rather than sugar for the cranberry sauce. Thanks!

I'm not a gravy person, so this note is about the cranberry sauce. I have Paleo-ized mine by making a cranberry relish in the food processor. I throw in a bag of thawed cranberries, a peeled lemon, an apple, a pear, and a few pitted Medjool dates. Blend until it's the consistency you desire. I find it the perfect balance between sour and sweet. I think I'll try it with a bit of fresh pineapple and raisins this year, too, yum! Who needs sugar when Mother Nature provides a bit of sweetness all by her natural self, right?

So many amazing recipes! I especially love the abundance of pumpkin--one of my favorites :) I really want to try that orange cranberry cake. It sounds delicious and looks so beautiful! Thanks for the recipes!

Somehow I missed this wonderful post (even though I subscribe by email). I am so in love with your recipes. Wish someone would just make me one of each (haha!) for my birthday, which is the day before Thanksgiving this year. You inspire and I am so grateful for YOU this holiday season.
