    Hi,
    just came across this as our family is starting a whole gluten free/dairy free diet for at least 6 weeks to see if there is a difference in how we feel. Can you tell me of a cheese you like? They are so expensive I don’t want to have to buy stuff and then not like it and not know what to do with it.

      I really like the Daiya shreds, they’re really good. I make a great mac n cheese with the cheddar one!! I’ve yet to find a block cheese I like, but Daiya just came out with a wedge I’m going to give a chance! Good luck!

    The only issue I have with this list is the rice milk, most I’ve come across contain casein, which is a milk protein. Being severely lactose intolerant, I can’t have this. Not sure how it plays into others dairy free diets, but just throwing it out there. I’ve been on a dairy free diet for almost 2 years now and just found out I have to do a gluten free diet. It’s an adjustment, to say the least. Thank you so much for compiling this list! I shop at Wegmans all the time, I love it and they really are the best for labeling their foods for various allergies!!

    Hi,
    I have just started my journey of wheat free, dairy free diet (I have been a pescetarian for 5 years). After years of pain from IBS I have decided to try this route and already feel the bloating and pain subsiding. I tried just wheat first and felt some improvement but eliminating dairy as well has made it even better.
    I just wanted to say thanks for this site, it is the most encouraging and informative I have found. I presume you are US based as I haven’t heard of the stores and brands you mention, but the general list is really helpful!
    I now live in France so the temptation of bread and cheese and the initial indulgence is what I think really highlighted the problem! So I am now trying to be very good – although limited in some products there is an abundance of fresh veggies and fish here.
    Anyway thanks again – great site :o)

    Hello i am from Queensland , i have Celiacs Disease ,also very allergic to lactose
    so now my diet has to be very strict due to the severe pain and gastro problems i am having
    i love cheese but it makes me so constipated :/ can i replace it with feta or brie ? i heard goats milk products like greek yogert are ok ?

    Hi there!
    I’ve been looking on a bunch of sites lately since my son has sensory processing disorder and it’s been quite overwhelming to start with gluten, dairy and red dye 40 free foods. This website is the first one that has more information on what kinds of foods and actually lists foods to eat without having to pay for it. I really appreciate this. Some of the stores mentioned here I don’t recognize in Spokane WA. If you know in local stores where I live please let me know. I know Rosauers right now is the best option but very exspensive.
