Chia Figgy Pudding! (Grain/Egg/Dairy/Nut Free)

I adore figs..but always forget to buy them! This simple pudding makes them the star of the show. Figs are great source of dietary fiber, which promotes healthy weight management. They also are rich in potassium, known to reduce high blood pressure. Plus, they are pretty 🙂

Chia Figgy Pudding! (Grain/Egg/Dairy/Nut Free)


  • 6 ripe figs
  • 1 Cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 8 drops liquid stevia, to taste
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ Cup chia seeds


  1. Trim figs to ensure no stem remains on fruit. Blend figs in food processor until smooth. Mixture will be speckled with small pieces of fig skins. Add remaining ingredients, except chia seeds, and process until well combined. Fold in chia seeds by hand. Refrigerate 1-2 hours until thickened.
